Тепер актриса отримає це звання офіційно. Рада модельєрів Америки (CFDA) вручить Зендаї нагороду в категорії «Ікона моди».

Церемонія нагородження відбудеться 10 листопада в Нью-Йорку. 25-річна актриса стане наймолодшою ​​володаркою статуетки Fashion Icon. У різні роки цією нагородою також були відзначені Ріанна, Бейонсе, Дженніфер Лопес і Девід Боуї.

Рада модних дизайнерів Америки оголосила номінантів на премію CFDA 2020. Цього року, з очевидних причин, організатори вирішили відмовитися від проведення заходу, однак і в онлайн-формат переходити не стали. Замість цього 14 вересня імена переможців будуть оголошені в соцмережах і на офіційному сайті.

Цього року відмінили кілька категорій: Fashion Icon, Positive Change, Media, Lifetime Achivment. Замість них з’явилися дві нові: «Кращий міжнародний дизайнер» і «Кращий міжнародний дизайнер чоловічих колекцій». У список номінантів цього року потрапили як імениті дизайнери, так і свіжі імена. Наприклад, Ешлі і Мері-Кейт Олсен, Марк Джейкобс, Том Форд, Том Браун, Брендон Максвел, Тод Снайдер, Різ Купер, Пітер До і інші.
