Президентом американского Совета модных дизайнеров впервые стала темнокожая женщина

До назначения на должность она работала в компании 19 лет

Совет модных дизайнеров Америки (CFDA) объявил имя нового президента — им стала Кассандра Диггс. Эту должность, впервые с момента основания организации в 1962 году, удалось занять темнокожей женщине. Ранее Кассандра занимала должность административного и финансового директора.

«Кассандра является инновационным мыслителем с глубоким пониманием организационных и деловых операций. Именно она – тот человек, у которого есть правильные идеи», — комментирует назначение Диггс генеральный директор Стивен Колб.

The CFDA is pleased to announce the promotion of CaSandra Diggs to President of the organization.⠀ ⠀ Diggs joined the CFDA in 2001 and most recently was Chief Administrative and Financial Officer.
