Президентом американської Ради модних дизайнерів вперше стала темношкіра жінка

До призначення на посаду вона працювала в компанії 19 років

Рада модних дизайнерів Америки (CFDA) оголосила ім’я нового президента — нею стала Кассандра Діггс. Вперше з моменту заснування організації в 1962 році цю посаду вдалося зайняти темношкірій жінці. Раніше Кассандра обіймала посаду адміністративної та фінансової директорки.

«Кассандра є інноваційним мислителем з глибоким розумінням організаційних і ділових операцій. Саме вона — та людина, у якої є правильні ідеї», — коментує призначення Діггс генеральний директор Стівен Колб.

The CFDA is pleased to announce the promotion of CaSandra Diggs to President of the organization.⠀ ⠀ Diggs joined the CFDA in 2001 and most recently was Chief Administrative and Financial Officer.
